Only two weeks left to join Opera Mariposa's Benefit + Awareness campaign!

Word is spreading about Opera Mariposa's 2022 Benefit + Awareness campaign! Our 10th annual charity fundraiser is being covered by news outlets such as Broadway World, La Scena Musicale Magazine, Stir Vancouver and BC Disability, and we're thrilled to say that we've already raised our first thousand dollars... which is being multiplied to THREE thousand dollars thanks to matching sponsor donations!

As part of our Awareness initiative, on Thursday, May 19th I'll be featured on CiTR Radio alongside Mariposa's general manager Stephanie Ko. May 19th is the eighth annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day, and to mark the occasion Stephanie and I will spend an hour talking opera, disability, and our Benefit + Awareness campaign (plus the important cause behind it). Catch all the Access Day programming at 101.9 FM on the dial, or tune in to the show online when it airs!


As for our event itself - if you haven't checked it out, it's not too late! We're especially excited by our $3,500 prize giveaway, which runs until Wednesday, June 1st and is open internationally. We're thrilled with the support we've received so far, but we still have further to go to reach our fundraising goal.
