The ME|FM Society of BC Board of Directors is a volunteer working board, creating and executing strategic plans, and developing/ensuring delivery of programs such as the Social Support Groups and the ongoing My MLA and ME campaign. We engage in fundraising activities, and manage day-to-day functions such as email, social media and website communications. This requires a minimum of 5 hours per month for each Board member; all society work is virtual.
This year, we are seeking Board applicants to join our skilled team to provide and supplement our work in the following areas:
Fundraising Marketing & Communications Legal
Social Media Non-Profit Administration IT Research Community Development Finance
Medical Healthcare Leadership Executive Management/Leadership Government Relations/Advocacy
If you are interested in becoming a Board Member, or know someone who may be, applications will close on August 30, 2023. Email the chair of the nominating committee at humanresources@mefm.bc.ca outlining your relevant skills, potential contributions to the Board, and providing your references. We encourage persons with lived experience to apply.
